As far as fleet purchases it really depends on how frequent that fleet is replaced. Some fleet vehicles are better maintained and operated. Too many company drivers are abusive to equipment.I've bought a few off lease vehicles with good results.Have it inspected and understand it is a higher mileage vehicle.
thank you for the advice, actually I crawled around underneath it and it is dry as a bone, I ended up purchasing it, the body and paint are in like-new condition, there is a hundred and three thousand miles on it, the serpentine belt was replaced and it really looks like the antifreeze has been flushed, I will flush the antifreeze in the spring,
the previous owner have the truck for 20,000 miles, he purchased it from the fleet and he has been driving it trouble free, he swapped to me for my 2003 6.0 Powerstroke with 153000 miles on it, it was a good truck,, but this is a smooth-running truck, the only issue I could find was the oil looked filthy, he reassured me that it was royal purple and I could go another two thousa I don't care, it's been draining for 2 days ,, letting it all drip out of there LOL when it's done I'll replace it with gas truck 5 - 30 rotella and a Mopar filter, but I took it to work a couple days just to feel it out it's about 60 miles round-trip, ran like a charm, really smooth and quick gas truck
