Its a 2011, i have 290k on it. No i cant afford to buy a newer one yet. A year ago i replaced the cam lifters basic overhaul of the top end of the hemi. It was fine till a week ago when it dropped 2 lifters they were cheap at the time so i went and got them from mopar this time. Replaced all the lifters yesterday put it back together and hit the key. very hard start misfire on cylinder 3 it wont light off. Now the lifters dropped in 2 and 4. Thats fixed no more ticking anywhere. It just runs like crap cause number 3 has no spark. changed the coil i have a ton of em laying around i know 4 coils arent bad yes i changed it that many times. Come to find out i have 12v but no ground trigger from the ECM. ok fine ugh. continuity tested the dark blue wire with an orage stripe (ground trigger) to the ECM. Tested good no breaks. Im left with it all the sudden being maybe the ECM not sending a signal to the coil pack? Will the ECM shut off a cylinder for any reason like that or am i stuck with replacing the ECM and if i do replace it with another one (same model ect) does dodge have to program it or is it direct swap?
