Thoughts on having the silver interior pieces painted?

I have a white truck, with black interior and the silver on the dash just really doesn't work for me. I was thinking about a semi gloss black. Thoughts on this and has anyone done theirs in black? I have seen a white one, but personally don't want white.

I haven't painted mine, and I have a white truck and black interior too. I really don't mind the silver accents. Painting them black might be a little too much black, no delineation. Just my opinion though.

I think its needs some sort of color contrast, maybe paint them white instead? or if that is too contrasty, paint them white then tint a clear coat.

I think white with a tinted clear could look sweet!
The tint will give it depth and not stand out so sharp

I did mine in dark grey and dark blue. Although I may repaint because I didn't realize that I picked Dallas Cowboy like colors until everything had been reinstalled lol.

Trim in my Laramie is chrome. Really considering painting it as the trim on the center console is blinding when the sun hits it.

I used plastic coat on the big chrome trim ring on the console. Sun was blinding me. Looks good in a matte black.
