Throttle bodies

I've got a '97 1500 with 5.9 V8
I'm trying to build it into a beast, so I'm starting with the little things first. my question,is the Hughes big gulp 52mm throttle body really a notable upgrade or just a waste of $250

Your money could go into far more important mods. Is your plenum fixed? Death flash gone? Start with those things and go from there. My first mods were the Hughes Plenum kit, a Superchips to kill the deathflash(although SCT is better), Harland sharp roller rockers and a better flowing exhaust. Those mods made a noticeable difference for me.

First start is stay away from ****** hughes. His tb his bold faced lie. Below the blades the bore is stock making his claims of more airflow than dual 56mm bores literally impossible
