Very likely it removes some of the dulling of the throttle sensitivity.

The computer accepts the inputs from the pedal, and averages them out so it's not as jumpy as it normally would be.

mine is set at 7 or 8 % (can't remember exactly, sorry). It gives it a lot better throttle response. I don't know how touchy it'd be if you went over 10% it'd prob be pretty sensitive. Play with it and see where you like it. Go up one or two percent at a time until you get there. You will like it I am sure.

I have mine set to 20% and have no complaints. Sean actually suggested it to relieve some of the dead spot around 35-40.

I haven't tried mine that high. It isn't too touchy off the line/off idle?

No sir. I feel it's just right. I use to feel like it took a quarter throttle press just to get the truck moving. Now it feels like it should have from the beginning. Of course, everyone has their preference. I recommend giving it a try.

on the move..

Set mine to 20% last night and it feels right. Didn't drive it much. Just a quick data log run for HEMIFEVER and then to work this morning.
