Thuds when driving.

i have an 09 4x4 slt and occasionally while driving it will begin to have loud thuds from the rear end that increase in speed as my truck increases in speed. It didn’t change under acceleration or braking. There will then be a louder thud and it will stop. It will generally start from after i stopped the truck. Any ideas?

Check the universals first chief.
