Well I said I wasn’t going to post on here anymore after all my threads and posts kept getting moved from the power wagon forum but I wanted to share my truck with you guys with some goodies on it.

1. Thuren 1.5” springs and fox shocks

2. 37/12.50 R18 Toyo RT’s (took some minor plastic trimming at the back of the wheel well) It doesn’t rub at all now lock to lock

3. Method 315s 18X9 +18 machined finish

Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Glad I went with 37s. Loss of power is minimal as was the trimming. Definitely worth it for me.

Good looking truck! I put r/t’s on mine too and have been happy with them. Went with 35s but those 37’s look sweet!

Yep I went back and forth between 35s and 37s. I only drive about 6k a year so I said screw it and went with 37s

Good call. I’m in my for 75 minutes a day and put 20,000 plus a year so I had to compromise.

That looks great! Is that a de-badged PW or did you just add the winch?

I personally like the chrome in the Tradesman PW. Never have seen one in person as the PW package isn’t popular in the South but would have chose it over the powder coat bumpers if I had a choice. Looks like the dog in the back likes your truck too!

Thanks man! He is a great old dog....wouldn’t trade him for 10 power wagons.

Just curious: why 18” rims versus 17”? Do you do much off-road driving? Thanks.

Not sure about the OP's reasons but when I was looking at wheels it came down to what wheel style and offsets were available. I don't think 17 vs 18 makes any significant difference offloading since we're only talking 0.5" sidewall difference. You get more sidewall with 37" tire on 18's than 35" tire on 17's.

There are more E load tire options in a 37/12.50R 18 vs 37/12.50R 17. That was my biggest reason. I narrowed my tire options down to the ridge grapplers or RT’s and they don’t offer an E load in a 37/12.50R17 only 18. I don’t do any hard core off roading but the difference in off road capability would be minimal at most.

Good to know. Thanks.
