I was pretty set on 5% on all 4 doors and rear window. But, I’m not sure if I want 5% on the front doors. Im kinda thinking it’ll be too dark inside, mostly at night. And also it being illegal lol. My windshield is 35% if I’m not mistaken.

My question is, would 15% on front doors and then 5% on rear doors and rear window look good? I love the look of 5% all around but I have a feeling it’ll be too dark inside.
Sorry for the stupid question lol.

Why would risk an accident happening at night? The darker the tint the less visibility from inside out and outside in. Visibility at night is important. Dark tint looks great on some vehicles but it also creates a hazard.

Stay safe and do not go more than 20% in the rear windows and 35% in the front.
You mentioned you windshield is 35%. Consider a 70% ceramic tint for the front windshield. It will keep the UV low and it will help visibility at night. In my opinion, if you are in an accident at night, lawyers will zero-in on the tint on your vehicle.

Just be safe and not sorry, IMHO.

I have 50% rear side and back. 35% front. The rear windows are colored from the factory so I chose a lesser tint to make all the windows look uniform.

I have to ask you about your light bar. Is it one of those with the laser type center lenses? If so, how do you like it?
Not sure what you mean by laser type center lense. Its a aux beam. I do like it a lot it throws a lot of light. Wish there was a better way to mount it but it does the job

If one knows how to use sideview mirrors properly, the back windows can be blacked out completely. No different than driving a fleetside can(no rear windows).

I've got 20% all around and it is perfect, for me.
With the factory tint on the rears it's a tad darker, but not black.
The fronts are nice with the 20% and it's not too dark for safe visible night driving in any weather and/or road conditions.

I like to do 5 or 20 on rear and 35 on the sides. Don't get anything too dark to attract law enforcement and it's also not great at night.

If you do tint 15% on front windows, just dark enough for heat reduction and privacy, but nighttime still able to see out. Tough matching rear windows, usually end up darker no matter what because front windshield lets so much light in the front windows will appear lighter tinted either way.
My current set up is 15% windshield.
5% on other 3 windows.
Have paperwork, all legal in my state. HID/LED lighting, no issues with night driving. Daytime it’s like factory tint from the inside. IMG_6431.jpegIMG_6489.jpeg

I went with an Auxbeam 22” with the 5D lens. I’ve had a 42” 5D lens before and really liked it. Why stray?IMG_1774.jpeg
Helps fill in the gap from the two spot lights. They’re great for the side of the highway but needed something that shot straight down the center

Thats looks great!!! never thought about spot lights like that. I probably should have went that route instead of adding the fog lights lol. Did you just drill steaight into the bumper for all of thr lights? I did that for the light bar.

Yup, I did mount straight to the bumper. I plan on keeping this truck so I really didn’t care.
