Tinted Head lights

Yes it has been covered already buy why not have another thread.

Who has em ? I have my head lights blacked out but I want a tint over the lens.I bought a set of the covers and they are way to dark.So I found lamin x who have a tint type film that goes over the light.They carry pre cut pieces for the head,fog,and tail light.$20 for the fog lights it was cheap and thought I would give em a try so I did...I must say that the film seem's great and I really like the look I got but the piece did not cover my whole fog light,I called them up told em what was going on and was told to send pics so I did well long story short they pretty much told me I was out of luck.Which I was fine with that is why I only tried the fog lights first....So what else is there to do ???

Maybe I am just to picky with my stuff ? If anyone has lamin x can you please post up some close photo's..I have also ran across people actually paint the lens but finding someone who knows how to or willing do it is rare.

My fog light tint did not. Cover the whole lense either. But I lined mine up to where. When installed in its spot. You could not tell a small sliver was not tinted.

You can get sheets of lamin-x and custom cut whatever size you want. They've always had great customer support for me. I called them and told them I had Hella 700s (to which they don't have precut for that particular light) and they looked up the specs on the lights and custom cut it for me. It actually turned out to be a little big in my case. Best bet is to call them and say you're not happy with it and maybe they'll discount a sheet big enough for you to cut exactly what you need.

Other option is to get as accurate as possible of a measurement and tell them you'd like something custom cut. They will do that if you give them the specs of what you need cut.

Yea I thought about getting a sheet and doing it..I want to get my headlights done as well but I am a little scared on them haha
