HI, my passenger side low beams went out. I Replaced the bulb however, it was still out. I checked all connections. Next time i started the truck the light worked. A day or so later light was out again. This continued for a week or so then the light went out completely. Through some research I believe it is a tipm problem. While search for solutions I saw a thread that said the tipm could be reset using the starscan tool at dodge but they would rather sell you a new unit. First off, can they be reset or do they need to be replaced. 2nd If they can be reset are there any techs that could give step by step directions so that I could take them with me to the dealer. Any other help would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

Your most likely culprit is the green 3 pin connector at the headlamp assembly. I've seen quite a few problems with them having poor pin fit issues with the terminals. I just cut out both connectors and straight soldered the wires. Try wiggling the connector with the headlamps on and see if it duplicates your issue.

20hemi10 you were correct. I had a chance to pull everything apart today. It was the green connector. Once that was cut out no problems now. As soon as I grab it the light came back on. Thanks again for the info! Have to love these forums. Thanks again. :favorites13:
