I wired mine into the rear slider switch, but I had a hard wire kit that came with my camera. I'm pretty sure it converts the power to be whatever the camera needs. All I had to do was find the positive and ground at the rear window switch and tie into it.

I just realized that my camera has an optional power block that works off the OBD port - super clean install, works with the truck is off or on as it has the same voltage cut off function. I am going to pull the kit I ran to the fuse block and go with this option instead.

So it sounds like the same thing that's available on Amazon, except that yours came with the camera. I ordered a kit and it's supposed to be here today. Do you happen to remember which wires are + and -? I have a meter so I can find it, but if you know, it would be easier.

Thanks

I'm sorry, I don't remember which wires I tied into. I used a meter to find them as well, and unfortunately, didn't take any pictures for reference. Sorry bud. [emoji26]
