Just wondering what you guys keep the tire pressure at during regular day to day driving vs towing. Picked up my new 2500 last week and the dealership had them at 75psi. I'm thinking keeping them around 45-50 and then pump up to 65-70 when I'm towing my travel trailer.

I don't have a 2500 hopefully others will chime in but I have seen people run around 60. 45 might be a little light and cause some unwanted sidewall flex and in even wear due to improper inflation. I run 41 in my 1500. I think the tpms will kick on around 60-65 somewhere.

I run mine at 45 front/40 rear when unloaded. When towing I air up the back tires to 60-65 (max PSI for my tires). I may even lower my rear tires to 35 or so when unloaded. No need to run any higher empty... it just makes the truck ride like crap.

On my 2014 1500 the manual calls for 39psi when tires are cold. Don't know what you 2500 manual calls for.
