tire.. rim... faakk

sooo on my wonderful new truck.. i have 20" rims. awesome stock... but crappy if i want to uprgrade to beefy tires. also from lookin around.. tires hurt my head

so i ask.. any ideas?
i have the rc 2.75 level kit...
and i want the biggest tire i can get without rubbing (and maybe saving gas.... thinkin maybe 33?)

now for putting these things on damn 20" rims are almost as expensive if i would get like... 17" rims and tires..... makes no sense


so help me out. whose got a good tire ideas... either for stock 20" rims.. or with another size rim

(btw looking for casual offroad use.. and highway driving)

295/60/20....

Your stock tires are already 33" tires (275/60-20)...actually a 33x10.8x20...if you wanna keep around the same mileage, you'll wanna stick to that size tire and probably an All Terrain type tread pattern.

If you want to stay around a 33" tire but with a more aggressive stance, take a look at the 305/55/20's. These are just a hair over 33" tall, but are 12.5" wide. They will make the truck look very agressive without sacrificing much as far as mileage and performance.

i knew they were close to 33... i thought 33 was 285 though? pretty newbish on this sorry haha and would 35 be alright if i have that 2.75 level kit? thanks guys

275, 285, 295, 305...these are all width measurements. The 2nd and 3rd numbers of the size are what determine your height.

The first number is how wide your tire is. And then the second number is the percentage of the width the sidewall height is. So 305/50 if 305 mm wide and 152.5mm tall sidewall.

Most guys refer to 285s as 33" tires because it is a very common size on 17" wheel (285/70/17)

If you have the chrome 20's you can possibly get away with 295's, 285's for sure. If you have the painted 20's you could fit 305's
