Just looking for some opinions to either confirm or debunk my instinct.

Tire size threshold. Had a fencing staple theough the sidewall, there would be a 3/32nds difference in size if I just replace that one tire (same spec and brand etc) but I am on the fence. Naturally I don't want to spring for a whole set, but if I have to I will.

I always followed the rule of '4 at a time' on 4WD and AWD but the tire shop is telling me it's not necessary at all.

Others opinions?

Tire rack will shave a new tire down to match other tires.

Or just buy 2. Either both for front or both on back. Keep the good one for a spare

I wouldn't worry about that little of a difference, though I might be tempted to buy 2 tires.
