I’m getting a 21 Ram 3500 HO Cummins and I’d like to go to a 285/70/17. I was told I’ll need a rear spacer. Does anyone know if it’ll be a 1.5” or a 2” spacer?

With the 1.5" spacer the tires will be really close together if you have to haul anything. You would have to keep the tires at 80psi just to keep them a couple of millimeters apart.

The 2.0" spacer is the way to go in my opinion. They will give you enough clearance so that the tires will never touch.
