Well I'm hitting the track tonight and going to be spraying a 150 shot of nitrous.
I have my window switch set to activate at 2200 rpms and shut off at 5700 rpms. I'll be manually shifting the truck at about 5900 and I'll hope for the best.
I'll be running the truck at full weight minus the spare tire. The truck is a 14 Ram 1500 crew 4x4 8-speed with 3:21 gears. I'll also be running it on the 24" wheels and tires and trying to dip her into the 12's.
My best time with all the above being the same is a 14.070 without nitrous. So we will see... lol
Thanks for all the help from everyone here, this is a great forum with plenty of knowledge and people who are happy to share advice.
Thanks again, and wish me luck... I may need it.. lol

Wow, you are brave. I would never take a new vehicle and use nitrous on it. Hope you have it setup right!! Good luck.. I look forward to your times and trap speed.

Brave? Maybe, new vehicle or not nitrous takes it's toll on the engine and drive train parts what ever the age. I trust Jay that he knows how to tune, so I think I'm pretty safe on the setup.
And thanks for the good luck, I am also looking forward to running it tonight and hoping for the results that I'm after.

Good luck man!

Jay

Thanks my friend, I'll give her hell and see how it goes. Once I get some money saved up I'll change out the wheels and tires for a more friendly drag setup and put her on a diet.. lol

Thanks again, Bill

I made a pass off the bottle and then switched to nitrous.
I had way to much fuel, felt good on the initial hit then way to much fuel. You could even hear it when the fuel took over and was dumping in without the nitrous. The truck actually ran less Mph in the 1/8 and in the 1/4 mile. It was over a half second quicker to the 330 and the 1/8 but she was dropping off quick after the 330' it didn't even want to run over 5000 rpm after I shifted into 3rd gear. I went back into the pits and removed my in line nitrous filter. Left the track and did a test hit on a side road. Still way to much fuel. So I didn't even go back to the track headed home instead and called it a night before I hurt anything or got anymore disappointed.
This morning I pulled my jets to make sure I had the right ones in. I'M a little blind, lol comes with age.. haha.

Anyway I had a 62 in the nitrous side and a 37 on the fuel side. That's what the chart card called for for a 150 shot. Doing some reading on the net this morning and the fuel side could be way rich. So I just down sized the fuel pill to a 33 and I'm going to go try it out in a little bit to see if it is any better.
Unless anyone has any ideas soon.... lol

Ok I just got back from making 2 test hits.
Some good news, I made 2 runs both times to about 105 to 110 mph. I didn't hear or feel it flooding out on either of these runs. Nor did it stop pulling at about 5000 rpms.
Felt the nitrous shut off at about 5700 and that is where it is set to. Maybe a little fine tuning now and I'll be able to make a trip to the track again soon.
I feel much better now, I just wish I would have brought more jets with me last night and I could have changed the fuel pill down and may have got to make a decent pass.

Are you using a tb spacer as a plate or is the nozzle in the intake tube? Also are you sure the nozzle spray hole is facing towards the tb?

I am using a nozzle in the intake tube facing down to the throttle body. It is a NX PROTON Plus kit.

Well enough messing around with the truck today. Getting ready to go for a nice ride on the Street Glide with the wife. Time to get out and enjoy the day.
