I've searched and can't find anything... my truck got rear ended and pushed into my Durango. The DS tow hook hit the hatch of the Durango, pushing the hook out. Can that bushing be pressed back into the tow hook or does a new set need ordered?

That bushing just slides in the hook, it’s meant to break away on impact versus shearing that bolt. I bet if you remove all that you can slide it back in with some lube and a BFH

I'm not real versed in these because I have never had them but is it something you could get all set into place chain to something solid and give it a hard tug back into place?

The body shop will more than likely be doing it. I thought I read somewhere that it could be put back in, just wasn't sure. Thanks for the replies!
