I am towing a 24 foot enclosed trailer. I have quite a bit if sag

-Wd hitch
- airlift 1000 bags in with 35psi.

What could I do to help with the sag?

From the top of wheel well to floor is 40 inches without trailer. 36.5 with trailer on.

How much are the upgraded springs ? The heavy duty springs

It rides fine. Not as plush as the OEM coils, but not rough by any means. I might be jaded though- I think a truck should ride like a truck. $360 bucks shipped to my door and took about an hour or hour and a half to install. Best. Money. Spent.

Do you still use the air bags with these? I heard that with aftermarket coils the airlift 1000 bags don't work near as well! Unless of course those coils are the same inside diameter that the stocks are?

Yeah they do help for sure. More with the bouncing and overall control than overall ride quality I think. I would venture any quality shock will be a huge improvement. I stick to the Rancho because I like them :)

I don't use them. I put them in while we were changing coils just in case- but never ran airlines. Haven't needed them.

Is the price per coil, or pair? I'm thinking about getting these for my '11 1500. I hate how my rear end sags when I have about 1400lbs in the bed, and about 1000lbs of people in the cab.

The price is per pair. I went with the 50% coils. Go big or go home :D

I run with around 1000lbs of human and a 6-750lbs tongue weight and it actually doesn't sag enough right now for the WDH to be effective. You are saying 2400lbs combined though? Pretty sure you're well into 2500 territory. Don't know how much the coils will help that.

Yeah, that is way above what any ram 1500 is rated for for payload.

Getting a trailer soon, so the coils upgrade will be for tongue weight, instead of overloaded bed. Thanks for the help.

I sent TuffTruck an email regarding their springs. I have only had my air bags installed for the summer and they already have a air leak, so would prefer a mechanical aid that doesn't leak.

They said they're coming out with a new product in December which is +50% coil at stock ride height. Which I thought they already had (TT1223).

Smurfs, do the TT1223 coils increase your ride height?
i.e. Stiffer coil, compresses less, ride height is higher than stock.

Yup, they did raise the rear end up which led to me putting in a leveling set up front. I'd bet it lifted 1 to 2" at least.

Yeah, if you are wanting a level look unloaded then you are pretty much stuck with bags for now- until they get the stock ride height product out there. I don't mind the rake because it levels when I load the **** out of it.
