So I had new tires put on last year. They goofed something up in the line I suppose and front driver side stopped reading at the cluster. No change when wheels are rotated.

Had new rims put on a week ago and my rear driver side tire is loosing air. But, on the cluster, the low air reading for that tire is reading on the front passenger wheel. What gives?

Once you've rotated, or replaced TPMS sensors, it does take a bit of time and driving for the system to re-orient to the new arrangement.

How many miles on the truck since the rim installation?

I assume your getting other TPMS error messages aside from no pressure reading?

The battery might be shot in the one wheel sensor, or the tire shop knocked it off and it's tumbled itself to pieces. It's said TPMS (the wheel sensors themselves) have a limited lifespan. 5yrs or so. I've not had them last much longer than that.

About 300 miles since rim installation. About 12k since I had new tires put on last year when the driver front completely crapped out.

@PoMansRam , no other readings for tpms other than driver side being out.

I don't believe it is a battery because the wheels have been rotated a couple times and the driver front side still continues to show no reading. I think they screwed something up in the line.

There is a corresponding transponder/receiver at each wheel position. I wonder if that is messed up.

Do you know the area where those receivers are located by chance?

I don't. I haven't had the opportunity to pull one from a Gen 4 truck. Had to several times on my Gen 3 Ram and my Gen 1 SRT8. Both those systems were designed exactly the same.

The receivers should be on a bracket near the brake caliper which allows it to read the sensor as it passes by on the wheel.

There is a transceiver which gathers the information from all 4 sensors and sends it to the TPMS module under the dash. That transceiver should be located forward of the driver's side front wheel splashguard.

Thanks @MADDOG. I think I am going to have to spend time doing my own research and inspection of the system. I appreciate all your input. I'll report back once I get it solved.

First thing is first. Gotta get back over to these guys and figure out why I have a leak in my rear tire. Hopefully just a compromised valve stem!

I had issues with my 2014 for a couple years. They worked on it under warranty and it would always come back with a single sensor not working and showing no reading in the dash.

At first it was Right Rear, and no matter how many times tires were rotated always Right Rear that wasn't working.

After a trip to the dealer they spent hours messing with it and then claimed it was fixed. Everything worked for about 500 miles then the Left Front went out and stayed out, same thing as before no matter what the rotation was.

I was 110% sure it was a receiver side issue, not a sensor issue, but eventually I saw a deal and bought 4 new sensors on Ebay. It said OEM but they didnt appear to be mopar stamped anywhere and after they were installed working 100% again.

So if you are having issues it might be worth the investment to get 4 new sensors just to be sure that is ruled out as the source of the problem.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Would you happen to have a link to the sensors you purchased? I just might give this a try. They will be due for replacement sooner or later anyhow!
