Hey guys, I'm putting a bilstein 2" level in my 2015 2500, springs and remote resivore shocks.
My question is can I use track bar drop brkts instead of complete adj track bars?
Looking to save a few bucks as front and rear track bars are 600 bucks.

I did the 2.3" Bilstein on my Diesel and while I used the Power Wagon track bar (it's slightly longer about 1/8"), for 2" you can get away with staying with the stock one. I doubt they even make a drop bracket that would work for a 2" level. The difference in track bar length at that height is very very small (like 1/8-1/4").

If you're OCD like me, and they make a track bar drop bracket that levels out your track bar so it's level, then I would go for it personally.

Realistically if you're leveling the front you don't need to touch your rear trackbar. Only the front.
Can you get a bracket for the front TB?, sure, do you want one ? Don't know how the factory front TB is in the 2500's and how HD it is.Typically when you drop the TB you also have to do something with the draglink, i guess of some sort of pitman drop.. Both bars have a geometry in check and when you mess with it you can induce woobles in your steering. Do it right and get a more HD adjustable trackbar to start, the bar should be more than ok for a 2" front lift

So after some looking the smallest TB drop brkts I could find is for 3"+ lifts.
So I will probably get and adjustable bar.
I got longer sway bar end links coming for the front & rear
I am going to be lifting the rear 1" as well. I tow alot and don't want the front nose high when towing.
Thanks for the links!

You do not need a track bar or relocation bracket with the billstein kit. They shave it to 2.3” for that reason you need it when you go 2.5” or above. I’ve done a lot of those kits it’s a great kit for the 2500’s

The power wagon track bar would be a good option if you can find a good used one cheap somewhere. They are a bit longer than a normal 2500 bar...believe its 1/8 inch but dont quote me.

Also, careful with the adjustable ones. Dont make them much longer than stock. From what I have read the PW bar is the max length with stock bumpstops, otherwise you will start getting rubbing/contact at full compression of the suspension. Dont quote me, but the number “39 1/8” rings a bell as the max length.

PW track bar is not more heavy duty then any other 2500, the only difference is it's about 1/8" longer because the power wagon has a slight lift from the factory over the standard 2500. Other then the length it is identical in design and materials

.
You said 3/16 in 2018 in ******* forums :) since we're counting fractions haha.
In any case the PW wagon should work for a 2" lift. I'll still get a Thuren or Synergy or Carli to center my axel and call it day. No harm and actually more strenght than stock. not a bad thing to have on a front live axle that it'll be lifted even 2". I don't skimp on the basics.

This was Don from Thuren, from the same thread where you posted the PW TB lenght
