Some of you saw the 1500 express I had...
Well the time came for me to trade it in for a diesel so I did. I had it for 8months and it was a blast to drive and the mods were easy. The dealer ship stripped the lowering kit, airbags, and HIDS out of the truck already and some service guys got it. I figured that would be a big selling point for them. They did keep the black housing headlights on it.

The new truck is a 2013 ram 2500 diesel and I love it. Ill post pics in just a minute when I get some of the new truck.

Is there a market for oem headlight housings because I have my 1500 one that have less than 100 miles on them and the factory coil springs links, and bump stops . All in box under 100 miles as well.

Alright I downloaded photobucket

Here are some of the old. It had several mods including a 2/4 drop and rear bags.

And in with the new which I like a lot more honestly. Ride isn't as good but I missed having my diesel.

Awesome! I'm planning on getting a 2500 but just not the diesel, I like it. I'm getting the hemi I don't have anything big to tow right now but in the future I want to get a travel trailer.

Honestly I spoke with several guys who had the gas 2500.00 they said if they could do it again they would not get the hemi in that truck. They said for what that motor can handle efficiently they would have just gotten the 1500. The suspension on the 2500 is meant to handle much more than the 5.7 can.

I towed a few testing loads with the 1500 and it wasn't good.

I feel the same way. If you get the 5.7 might as well get the 1500. The new 2500 have the 6.4 option. The 2500 suspension can handle much more then the 5.7

Good lookin' truck. Congrats!!

Thanks man. I'm debating on a leveling kit or not. I'm going on a 9hr trip Tuesday to kerville Texas. Yearly ranch hunt. Looking to see what the mileage is on it.

There are a few companies working on it but nothing yet... the EPA has scared all of the US based companies from putting in too much effort. RaceME which is based out of Austria is expecting to have one available sometime after New Years but a specific release date has been set. When they do I will post up the info.

Great looking truck BTW!!!

Before you level it consider just getting tires first. There are lots of guys running 34s and 35s on stock rims with no rubbing. 285/75/17 ATs are in my near future.

Well that's good to know. Hope it isn't an arm and a leg!

And yea this one came with the 265/70/17 and it looks a lot better than the ones with the 245/70/17 I'm gonna ride these until they are done and then probably buy some larger ones. I do drive highway a lot so I don't wanna go to large.

I am doing the same. I just cant drop a grand on new tires when the current ones are new. i wish i would have thought of getting them swapped by the dealer before i took delivery... then it would not have been so bad.

Good luck on the hunt. I think leveling/lifting is all in what you want your truck to look like. I personally wanted the level to get the nose off the ground. I'm lifting and going up in tires because I want the look and some tires that can handle fields and snow. The stock tires for the Sport are horrible.
