I just installed an OEM brake controller in my 2014 1500 and had a question about operation. I noticed when depressing the brake pedal there is a servo/actuator type noise (about a second long on brake pedal press and another second on release). This noise is coming from the controller itself (or the switch on the dash)...

Is this normal? If so, what is it?

You ever get any satisfaction on this?

Mine is a 2017 Laramie 4wd. Factory brake controller. Just recently started this same noise.

Mine only appears to do it when in park or neutral, when the brake pedal is pressed or released.

Thinking about just unplugging the controller, and/or disabling it with Alfa. I don’t tow, anyway.

I have not but thanks for the bump! Maybe we'll get some more replies...

I did the same OEM IBC install on my '16 as you did. I do not get any buzzing / clicking from mine. Is that noise with or without a trailer connected?

Are the electric / electric over hydraulic settings correct for the trailer type? How many axles w/ brakes?

No trailer connected, starts as soon as its enabled in AlfaOBD
