Train Horn Install has Begun...

So my Hornblasters Train Horn came in Thursday...started the install today. Still have to run the electrical and main air supply line from the tank to the valve, but got the biggest part of the install done today. Wish i had more time to get it done today, but here is where i am at so far....

I had a Wolo Road Warrior on the '01 Ram I traded for my 2013 Ram. If I remember, its 130dB and 275Hz. It was loud enough to scare people texting while sitting at a green light, or those obnoxious bicyclists and pedestrians who don't obey the laws to protect them...


I removed it before I traded and next summer, its going into the 2013.


Not nearly as impressive as a train horn though. Looks like a fun project!

Where did you end up mounting the compressor and tank? One of these kits is in my future as well.

I mounted the tank and compressor in the bed, right behind the cab in the corner of the passenger side. Wasnt a good place to mount it up front, and didnt really want to mount it in the elements under the truck.

3 gal tank 2 compressors 5 horns at 200 psi mounted under rear bed of truck very loud.
