I have had a grinding sound when i shift into reverse, doesnt happen everytime but it happens enough. Aswell when its cold there is a definite whine. I took it to chrysler and they said the whine is normal, and the grinding isnt bad enough for a tear down.

I havent noticed still i drove in my friends truck. When i get on the truck and when it shift from 1-2 and 2-3, it seems like hesitates slightly, almost like if it was a manual truck. The shift is not insantanious like it should be. Takes like .5 secs to shift so i defanitly loose accelaration. Is that something that is enharrent to a 6 speed with 3.55, or is something wrong with that aswell

No codes.

Fluid is nice and purple.

Im thinking, of just bring it in for a tyanny flush, so if there is anything grinding there will be metal shavings and they'll investigate

They said they'll charge me 165 if the dont find anything, and they already looked at it and couldnt find it, dont wanna spend it again.

If you are paying that make sure they drop the pan and make sure you get to see the pan dropped and inspect it yourself. Otherwise, I would opt to drop it myself. Nobody has a method for getting all of the oil out, so I doubt that 165 is for 14qrts tranny fluid flush, it would likely be more like 300 to 350 dollars. If you are still in warranty, fawk it just drive it to you are close to out of warranty, and then drop the pan and put Redline tranny oil in. If you put new fluid in right now, you may just be delaying the failure until you are out of warranty, new fluid usually helps for a while at least. But since they aren't helping you eventhough they hear a grind, I wouldn't help them by changing the fluid.
