i was having shifting issues and this is a response i got .... Sounds like you need to replace the solenoid pack itself. For your year of truck you'll need the solenoid pack with the white connector plug. You can check with Sonnax to see if their rebuilt 545 solenoid packs are now available. ...

any reason not to get this part through the dealer ?? is it the same part as offered online ?? i can get it same day from a local dealer to the shop i work at for $249.00
