5.7 Hemi 84k miles
545 Rfe trans ??
Situation: My truck runs great, perfect in fact right up until I tow my boat. I can be driving along and the trans will try to shift and get hung in 3rd gear....if you put in reverse it will not move/no throttle
Pushing gas pedal does nothing Rpms don’t raise at all, same for 1&2
Shut the truck off and restart no change.
I have to use bullydog to reset truck to stock to get it to shift normally.
**This happens with truck in stock tune or 89/93 tune** makes no difference.
Any other time driving or towing anything else other than the boat it runs and shifts like brand new.
Truck was tuned by Shawn @ hemifever and asked him for any advise w trans and he said no tuning for the trans was available for 2004.
Help welcomed and appreciated.
Replaced solenoid pack, speed sensor
Installed transgo Shift kit
Added external trans cooler
Any info or advice appreciated
Also added line pressure booster.
