2003 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4
While driving the pickup felt a vibration, pulled over then every shift felt like neutral, nothing going forward or backward. Then when shifting to parking heard a grinding-like sound. Quickly shifted to reverse then to parking and noise stopped. The vehicle now seems to be in neutral even when shifting to parking. Tried to engage the 4x4 and felt a lot of ‘grinding’. Could both the parking pawl and the transfer case be damaged? At the same time? TIA
