I'm getting ready to change the fluid on my transmission, which I believe is a 68RFE. The OEM pan does not have a drain plug, so I'm shopping for something that does. I'm thinking stock capacity, but is it worth the extra money to get a thick aluminum pan like this, or is a sheet metal pan sufficient?

Thanks, Newell

I went with the PML ,I like the extra capacity as it helps with temperature.
I did epoxy a metal washer to the bottom so I could use a large magnet. I don’t remember if it was the factory one or if I got a different.
The new pan has a magnet on the drain plug , however I wanted more area than it offered , just because.
This pan is well worth it , I recommend it highly .
