Did you go through these guys, they're the cheapest place in Canada to get the PPE pan.
Looks like they still have the pans in stock.

Got it from BC Diesel. They were the cheapest at the time. It was $393.

Take these instructions with you to the transmission shop, they're the ones that come with a new truck specific 8 speed.
Make sure they understand the transmission has to be level, not the truck
Thanks for this. I recently changed my trans pan and fluid with the truck level. Afterwards rhe trans was whinning. I jacked up the rear of the truck to level the transmission, and it took 1.5 more quarts to till. She's back to quiet now.

Out of all the applications the 8HP70 is used in,the Ram trucks are a total oddball with the way the tranny is angled downhill, pretty well every other application has the transmission sitting virtually level in the chassis.
Supposedly Audi has the best programming for the transmission, but there isn't many tuners who can get the Audi programming to work in a Dodge application.
