I have a 2018 with 76,000 miles. I have towed a 6500lb camper about 10,000 miles of the 76,000. 8 speed transmission. Should I get the transmission serviced? I know the dealers dont recommend changing fluid, but I feel it may need to be changed due to towing a camper multiple times per year.

IMO, 100% yes, drain/refill. That's drop the pan, replace the pan/filter (all one unit, filter is not serviceable separately with OEM parts), and replace fluid. DO NOT FLUSH. Do it again in another 30-40K miles.

I had the transmission serviced on my wife's 2019 Rebel at 70,000 miles.
Dealers do this all the time as well as independent shops.

Dont forget to change the differential fluids also.
I recently changed the rear diff fluid on the truck with 73,000 miles.
While the fluid did not look dirty there was a lot of gray looking sludge on the bottom of the case when I wiped it out.
It has the 3.92 gears so I used 75-140 fluid.

I have to do the front diff now.

Don't forget your transfer case.
