I recently did a transmission fluid and filter change (no flush) and the truck has not been shifting correct ever since. It really hangs on 2nd and jerks into third when up shifting. On two occasions the truck does not downshift correct and stalls when coming to a stop.

I don't get any transmission-related codes (only code is the annoying p0452 which I have given up on trying to fix).

My theory is the fluid change must have disturbed the aging transmission shift solenoid (176K miles). The solenoids may not be operating the valves correctly causing it to shift poorly. Before I spend the money on a replacement solenoid, has anyone else had their solenoid pack go out without throwing a code?

Thanks
