Hello guys and gals,
I am new to the website, can you point me in the proper direction to get help on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 L rwd. I love the truck to death but ever since the band anchor was found in my pan i have had problems. Fix it, runs great for a while then something new. I have done alot of research and studied diagnostic sheets but there are many factors that come into play i.e. throttle control cable, gear shift lever and cable control, valve body, sensors, solenoids ... the list goes on. Most recently I had the symptoms of when the band anchor dropped, where it only stays in first/2nd. You can gun it and let off the throttle and once and a while shift into 3rd or 4th but now after a pan empty, valve body inspection, band adjustment, filter change. it barely goes into drive and throttle seems to go in and out.
Any help appreciated.
Julian
