Troutspinner, will those 4.5" scans fit up in the dash? I was debating putting a l4v2 in there if I could get it to fit. Don't mind a lite trimming what do you guys think would the l3 or l4 be better? Want to compliment the l1v2 tweets in sail as well as l6v2 of n the doors. Any thoughts or preferences... As I am following in your footsteps. Still waitin on my box but movin down the line, I am right After lizard king.

Put a hole in the windshield and flush mount it.

I decid d on the l3v2 for a better fit... I kinda new it wouldn't go but offered better freq ranges. I'll be happy the the l3

Thank you for that and $hit! The scans are 2mm larger. I think I have to re-think what I want to do. Damn! I thought they would fit. Argh!

I even considered glassing a little enclosure in the corner and venting it into the stock dash speaker hole

100mm max is about what you can fit.

The 12M's come in at 115mm vs. the 118mm of the L4's.

The Legatia L3v2 looks good and the price doesn't scare me but anyone have opinions on the Dayton Audio RS100-4. Dirt cheap!

I have pair of the paper cone version and they fit just fine. Not very efficient compared to other choices. Good driver though.

Haven't heard them Personally but haven't read a bad thing about them . Unless ur set on 4"
