So I installed my Pulsar about 2 months ago and I'm having some weird things happen since the install.. First my battery is not even a year old but when I auto start it after sitting a few hours it starts kinda slow and it has done this since the Pulsar went on.. The 2nd thing is three times now the truck has died when shifting between gears, first and second time was going from reverse back to drive then today going from drive to park.. When I crank it back up it sorta sounds like it's heat knocking.. Now I have no idea if these thing have anything to do with the Pulsar being on the truck but all was well before it went on.. Not sure what to do from here..

The knocking issue are you running premium? If not did you accidentally put it in 7 or 8? I've read it will know on 8 with less than 91.

Been running 91 since the day it was installed.. It has only done the knocking deal when I fire it back up after it died those 3 times..

Have you removed the pulsar and had the same symptoms?

Also. Are you sure the tune isnt for 93 octane?

It's kinda hard to tell what is going on with the knocking especially if you aren't monitoring AFRs.

It doesn’t knock at idle all the way to wide-open throttle, only had the weird knock as I’m starting it back up the few times it died when switching gears while trying to park.. No I haven’t taken it off yet..

I would remove it and drive it for a couple weeks and then go from there. I once had an edge product on a Cummins ,it started doing weird electrical things and fried my ecm. Edge bought me a new ecm, it fried that one too and then they switched out there downloader programmer for a juice with attitude since it adjust fuel at the injectors instead of the ecm.
