So, aside from engine performance issues that I am currently hunting down, I seem to have some brake issues that need addressed (probably even more so than the engine).

Simply put, the truck wants to pull pretty firm to the right during braking. I had this problem a couple years ago and found the passenger side caliper's piston was completely rusted and seized, so I replaced the caliper along with new rotors and pads (yes, that's plural. I did both sides). The driver side caliper was replaced a year prior (it also had seized up). Overall, no problem until recently.

If I take my hands off the wheel, the truck tracks perfectly straight. When I hit the brakes, she pulls somewhat heavy to the right. If I let go of the wheel while braking, it very noticeably turns right. Holding the wheel, I can feel it trying to turn right under braking.

this would be caused obviously by the drivers side not braking as hard as the passenger. While yo say its only been a few years, it IS a year older. That'd be the first place I'd look. Did you change any lines, proportional valves, slave cylinders, etc at the time?

Look for any leaks on the drivers side first.

Never replaced hydro hoses, just the hardware.

Never really suspected a leak as I've never had to add any fluid to the reservoir. But hey, well worth checking anyway.

Lines themselves look quite clean all around. I suspect the previous owner may have done them at some point. The brake booster still has a Bosch sticker on it, though I'm not sure who the OEM supplier was for these trucks.

OE booster supplier was Bosch. Booster won't affect the calipers. I bet either of your calipers and hoses are bad again.

Well, to be honest, the caliper I bought as a replacement was, like, a $20 deal from O'Reilly's. I knew even then that you get what you pay for, but I was working a VERY crappy job back then and didn't have a choice but to go with the cheapest fix...

No idea what the driver's side caliper is. That was a shop job that was done for me. All I can see is that it's loaded with Raybestos pads, same as I loaded my O'Reilly's deal with.

If you got the money (honey, LOLZ), replace both calipers and hoses. Pads might be alright, but since you're in there anyway.......
