I am seriously thinking about buying a tuner for my 2014. Can someone explain the difference between the Diablo T1000 and the Diablo Intune DCX? They appear to do the same thing only different casing!!

As far as tuning there the same thing.

The T-100 you just get the gauges to monitor the parameters and the 0-60 , 1/4 times etc.

Functionally they are the same thing. You get the same options for tunes/parameters to change on either one. From what I hear the trinity has a bigger memory for data logging if you are looking to do any custom tuning, but not by much.

The ability to have the Trinity mounted up on the dash, you get a couple gauges to monitor in addition to what you have on your cluster. As well, with it always plugged in and ready, it makes changing tunes on the fly a bit quicker.

Other than that, I prefer the DCX just because I didnt want to give anyone more reason to break into my truck, and the suction mount that comes with the Trinity doesnt hold for ****. It really comes down to personal preference. And your budget.

True. I like the Trinity so I can check any performance gains while running it live and using the x-mas tree. I do not leave it in my truck as it's outside all the time. I can tinker a bit and see instant results without data logging all the time.

Now in my car, I have the another Trinity. I use it to monitor a few other function as I'm driving. It stays in the car as the car is always garaged.

I also use the Trinity as my shift light my car. It has that option. My car is a 6 speed and the first 3 shifts come up very fast.

It gives you option of all sorts of different gauges to monitor. Make your own custom gauge set up. The digital speedo comes in handy as well. Like a HUD.

They both will load tunes the same way, but for the extra $120, the Trinity has the options I want.... and now need. You really don't know how handy it is until you have one.

the Trinity also has a large data base to work in other cars. I just bought a 2014 Jeep JK. I had an check engine light after the remote starter install. I was able to use the Trinity to pull and clear the codes.

I'm not sure the other tuner has that ability with multiple cars.

it does i believe. pretty much any obd2 vehicle can be scanned. only vehicles that diablo has loaded tunes for can be tuned with it. so more than likely a kia rio would probably not be a supported vehicle tune but hey you never know till you check i guess.

From what I've read, DCX will only work on Dodge products.
