The trinity also shuts off after awhile too.
Once the key is switched OFF, its not consuming power anyways. So I suppose you could leave it there when not in the truck, if you want someone to smash a window and steal it.

They had a problem with the push button starts. The last update fixed it, , , I think. Before, it would go off, but the start part would partially wake back up, press brake and push start button would display, then would go back off, over and over.
Like I said, I think, it's fixed now with the update.
If you get the update, you will loose any custom tune you have so save it before on your computer, just fyi

I leave mine plugged it haven't had a problem with it. Just make sure sleep mode is active.
