Superchips or Diablosport?
About $100 difference on Amazon.
No real mods on my truck other than my Airaid mid tube. No plans for wild upgrades except maybe exhaust in the future, and some bigger tires.

What would you pick?

I would go with the Diabosport intune and if you get it through Moes performance Computer Tuners you can get the hemifever custom tune

I'd do superchips if I were you. You don't seem like your going to get extreme in making your truck "go fast" superchips will make you happy

Yeah I just want to get rid of mds and hopefully get a little better mileage. And if and when tires change sizes, it'll be nice to be able to fix that. So, which superchips? On their website, the cortex doesn't list mds delete, but it's their top of the line? Found the flashpaq on amazon for $284, new. Leaving towards that one.

For what your looking as far as mods the SC will be more than sufficient for your needs. I don't really see a DS being useful unless your getting engine work (cam, heads, super charger etc.), but it also gives you the option for the HemiFever tune which I've heard mixed reviews on and have amounted it to the being same "maybe" a little more than the SC Flashpaq. I love mine

Thanks man, seems that's what I'll go with once funds are acquired.

Just don't forget to get the trans tuning, this way you can tune that (tune out 2P completely) and make your trans live longer.

What do you mean 2P, and is it an option when I buy the tuner? Or does it just come with it?

Reading a few other forums. Are you able to run the 91 tune AND disable MDS? Per a forum that was written in 2014, you couldn't. I want to rid myself of MDS, and run the 91 tune, but I'll settle for the 87 tune if I have to.

I was thinking about that, but was sketched out about them screwing me over with it being married still. I've never seen a tuner in person, so I wasn't sure how to check to make sure it's not still married, especially if getting a deal over Ebay or something, rather than in person.

As far as the 3865 goes vs the 3842... whats the difference? I want whatever is cheaper as long as I can get rid of MDS and still tune the trans and have a decent power tune, with a MPG tune optional.

You can disable MDS on any tune. I have run every tune on mine and disabling MDS was one of the main reasons for buying the SC.

If you do buy from someone the way to make sure that the tuner is clean is to plug it up and it will come on. It'll flash the SC logo and then it'll say tuning has been installed. If it's clean it will not say that, I'll take pics if needed.

If someone is trying to sell one an it's unlocked they usually will take a pic where it says the tuners status like said above. If I remember I'll plug mine in an take a pic. As for the difference in tuners. Idk about the other one I think that one just has 4th generation suppprt?

After searching, can't find anywhere that specifically says that the 3865 will disable MDS. Can anyone confirm or deny? 3842 says it does, but if I can get the cheaper 3865 I'd rather. Anyone know the differences, except the 3842 supports newer rams as well? My 06 is covered by both. As I said in an earlier post, I'm just looking for the 91 tune, trans tuning and MDS disable.

2P = 2 prime, this is the kick down gear that uses the OD clutches (the weakest ones in the case). With the factory shift schedule, when you stomp on it from cruise speed this is the gear it kicks down to.
