So I have a 2014 Express CC/4x4 with the 6 speed transmission and 3.55 gears. My truck now has 115K miles on it. I recently completed a list of general PM items on the truck before wanting to really mod the truck. My question is what kind of power is this transmission capable of handling ?

Currently I have a Flowmaster FX Muffler / AEM Dry air filter / DIY air duct are the only mods to the truck, so basically stock with some sound lol. I would like to get a tune for 89 and 93 this summer. On 93 I would guess that would net me around 340 WHP ?

Long term I would love to get this truck up over 400 WHP once the cam / lifters go.

I have a six speed but switched to 456 gears and it was a huge difference on takeoff, this also reduces stress on the transmission. 6.4 intake was also a noticeable improvement. Some long tube headers and an engine tune compliment all of these other mods .

I have no idea what the power to the ground is , but it’s much more entertaining than stock.

4x4 makes changing your gears a more complicated process but in my opinion would be worth the effort.
