Looking for a good tuner to use in my 2017 Dodge Ram 1500....I have exhaust and intake so I would like to tune next to ensure that the aftermarket parts are working in conjunction with the truck

I just bought the diablo i3 tuner it’s a little pricey but comes with 3 tunes and u can buy more through hemmifever that will take into account any mods u have installed

Your will need a pcm since its a 2017. I would get an unlocked pcm from Diablo & a Diablo I3. Also I HIGHLY recommend a Jay Greene custom tune. The canned tunes that come on the programmer are "ok" but a custom tune is a night and day difference

Contact both the tuners recommended, Jay Greene and Hemifever, and tell them what you want and what you are trying to accomplish and after talking to them, make your decision about who to use--they both have good reputations and large followings.

I have a question about diablo tuners..

What does diablo claim hp gains with a trinity..

I only ask cause i saw a vid where a diablo rep claimed 90hp with the new t2..

If I remember correctly I think the correct number is between 25-35hp. The only thing that will give you an additional 90 hp is a catch can and then only if you also have the decal.

I stand corrected. Website says up to 100 hp on diesel, and 90 hp/90 tq on gas...not sure I believe that.

I think Matt at Moe's Performance or Sean from Hemifever would have a more accurate figure for you.

The 90hp/90tq is conditional based on vehicle. Probably something with a turbo or supercharged... Definitely not a ram lol

Would a computer pulled from another Ram of the same year work instead of buying one from Diablo? I've seen used ones going for around $100.

I think they are gaining those numbers on the turbo Eco Boost Fords,but I don't think the naturally aspirated Rams are getting that much gain
