Welcome to the Forum, that's a cool set up. The wheels are a nice touch.

Why 1 turbo instead of twin turbskies?

Thanks everyone. I've always wanted to build a turbocharged setup. Finally was able to with the 03. The 03 first had a rear mount STS turbo. Cut it up and built a front mount turbo setup with it. The 03 went from running a 13.8 to a 13.1 with same 8psi boost. That got me hooked and have been messing with turbo setups ever since. Been trying to keep it street simple with just a single turbo setup so far. I've had a few bumps in the road but, it's been allot of fun so far. And that old saying of. "Once you've gone boosted, you'll never want go back to n/a. Is so true. :waytogo::waytogo::waytogo:

My 03 has been my favorite. It has reacted well to the mods I've done. Used the oem 03 pcm with it. Many people said the 03 pcm isn't tune-able. It is. You just have to find a tuner that has experience with tuning 03's. The tune isn't going to be perfect but, it works.
My 05 has been my money pit. Have had more than a few bumps in the road with the 392 engine and tuning. Slowly getting it worked out. One step at a time.

Had several problems happen with the 392 build. Some problems were self inflicted... Learned a little something with each problem.

Stu, your 03 pcm is a pos. The 03 pcm has many short falls for a start it's idle can't be adjusted, it's revv limiter can't be adjusted, it's low speed tables can't be adjusted. By spending large sums of money there are work arounds and an experienced tuner maybe can massage it to were it can run 5psi of boost with minimal stalls and shut downs. Hardly worth the effort or money. No one has put in more time, money and effort than I have trying to get a 03 to tune. So don't try to mislead anyone that a 03 pcm is tunable. The solution is to swap to a 05 pcm and tune using HHP. Then you can spend your hard earned money on a transmission to hold the power you are making. Good luck Stu, one day you will figure this out. .... maybe.

I agree with you Greg. The 05 pcm is the way to go. Much better for high performance tuning. The drive-ability is better too. Many tuners can do performance tuning with the 05 pcm. That's the main reason why I bought an 05 Hemi Ram. The 05 pcm can be tuned for a boosted 392 Hemi engine. The 03 pcm just can't do that...

Got lucky with my 03's 5.7 Hemi mild boost tune. Just happened to find someone that put the time and effort into building a boost tune for an 03 pcm with a 5.7 Hemi. The 03 boost tune was originally built by Sean (HemiFever Tuning) years ago before they found out that the 05 pcm was much better for performance tuning. You didn't have to be a rocket scientist to tune the 05 pcm... The 03's boost tune wasn't perfect but, it worked for me and my 03. After all, I have the time slips, video's and dyno sheet to prove it worked on my oem 03 pcm, heavy(5752lbs) full street trim, 03 QC 5.7 Hemi Ram... My 03 has been turbocharged since 2009 with the same mild boosted tune...

Stu, since you have such an affinity for the 03 pcm I have a couple of them with B&G companion tunes. These are hard flashed with 800 rpm idle, 7000rpm limit and 140mph limit. You can then tune them using diablo tuner to install your 20150711_080046.jpg mild boost tune. I even have the diablo tuner I used on them...

Thanks for the offer Greg. Right now, just want to get the 05 finished and ready for tuning. It's getting there. One step at a time.
