2023 Longhorn here, with cameras all around. I'm wondering if there's a way to easily/quickly turn on the front camera in parking situations?? I have to dive into several menus to turn it on now, and hoping someone knows a quicker way to do this? My mom's new Edge has a hard button that turns hers on, which is great.
TIA for any insights!

I know what you want…. I have run into this little inconvenience myself. It was only yesterday that I came off the Interstate into a tight, cafe parking lot and I had to navigate the Uconnect Menus to activate my front -camera.

Last week my grandson visited and he drove my new Ram with me as passenger to town and back. He owns a Silverado and he mentioned that truck is programmed to activate the front camera when approaching an object (wall, curb, etc) at slow speed…or immediately/temporarily when first moving forward after a reverse.

If these Rams will program similarly…. I guess we’ll have to quit being lazy and read the Owner’s Manual to find out.

You can use alfaobd to enable the front park sense camera activation feature.

I have the 12" display, and at the top right of the screen, there is a "button" to activate the surround cameras.
One touch, and I use it all the time.
There are options of what shortcuts you can put up there.

I did the same thing, put a camera shortcut on the top menu bar. I wish the cameras had a hard button; my wife's Bronco has the hard button.

My 2019 bighorn with 13 inch screen automatically engaged front camera if you went from reverse first to drive. I got used to that and wish my 2026 bighorn did it too but can't make it happen
