Tyc projectors retroshop hids swap

Did it this weekend, first time I've messed with hids and to tell you it was a experience ! I did run into some issues but a quick text message to Jeremy and he responds quickly. Thanks Jeremy ! First issue I had was there's no way to stuff all that harness in the headlight,which sucks lol second I got the projector adapters harness so I had to find a place to screw those resisters to metal and be out of the way,third one of my canbus adapters connectors was backwards had a hell of time getting that figured out forth getting my light beams adjusted,now I see why the fxr upgrade about! One of my Tyc bulb lock ring was off had to modify it to get both my bulbs wire to be in the same 6:00 position. With all this I'm pretty happy now and Jeremy is top notch guy!View attachment 45972

So how was getting the lights open to put in the FX-R's? and how much work was it to get the new projectors aimed?

Rherman1, I didn't do fx-r these are stock Tyc projectors but i can see why it would benefit in the beam pattern (cutoff) now that I got them adjusted the best I can I'm good with it. The drive home from work tonight was my first real test and Im satisfied,like I said its my first experience with projector and hids and I've learned a lot and understand more about what people on here are talking about.
