U connect disappointment.

Guess didn’t understand the scope of Uconnect. After a day at the lake we were at the landing and my fob fell out of a hole in my swim suit pocket into the lake. Thought, no problem I’ll call Uconnect and get them to disable the security and I’d drive home and use my spare. Turn out all they can do is call roadside assistance to tow my truck to the dealership so they could program a new fob or to my house. ON A SUNDAY
Pissed off, I went back and searched about where I was while my wife called a friend to take her to get my spare fob.
By a miracle found the fob and though wet, it still worked. Canceled the friends ride. Seriously questioning my Uconnect renewal.

The security is not something that can be "disabled". That's not limited to Ram's either. You're simply paying for the ability to remote start, lock and unlock, send navigation info and locate your vehicle from your phone.
