U0101

Evening all. I installed the OEM bed light kit and was working under the dash and under the fuse box. I also unpluged (but repluged) a couple other units under the dash to get to the CAN block I needed to. Now I am throwing a U0101 code. I also wired the KaodTech bypass to the CAN units.

Open in the CAN bus + circuit
Open in the CAN bus - circuit
Short to power in either CAN bus circuit
Short to ground in either CAN bus circuit
Rarely - faulty control module

U codes are communication errors. I would clear the code and see if it comes back (if you can). May have set when you had stuff disconnected. If it doesn't clear you may have something connected wrong on the 2 CAN bus connectors.

Thank you. I couldn't clear it with just the OBD scanner, so I'll see what I can do with the bypass...
