Uconnect 4C GPS capable or not?

I am searching for a 1500 after selling my '16 2500 Longhorn. I check the build sheet on ones I am interested in and see a lot that say they have the Uconnect 4C 8.4" and no mention of GPS like our '18 Rubicon build sheet does. But the build sheet does say GPS Antenna Input. Does this mean the head unit is capable of GPS? I talked to dealers and they tell me to use Apple Carplay or Google maps from my phone. I'm a dummy with apps on my phone and really like the ease of using the factory nav. Thanks for any help

One of these (RA4 or 8.4AN) comes with the nav. The other (RA3 or 8.4A) does not. But you can purchase the nav for this one from Chrysler for about $420.

If it says 4c Nav it has the GPS (UAQ). If it just says 4c it does not (UAS) but both will work with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The older radios are the RA4/8.4AN (NAV/GPS) and the RA3/8.4A (no NAV/GPS but it can be activated $$$)

The current 2018 I am looking at has no mention of any of those. It just says 8.4" Touchscreen and All VP4 radios

So if it is the 4C no NAV, I have to use phone apps for GPS? No factory Nav? Can't help but wonder why the build sheet says GPS Antenna Input.

The antenna that is used for SiriusXM can receive the GPS signal too.
