Uconnect default settings

Hello, I have the center console Uconnect touch screen in my 2019 Ram 1500. I was wondering if it is possible to reprogram the default to automatically connect to my phone's bluetooth when I press the media button. Now it defaults to the usb connection, which I hardly use. I have the Alfa obd app and the obd device, but I haven't searched through the options on that yet.

I have a 2019 8.4 uas radio in my my 2018 ram. It does default to Bluetooth connection unless I connect it to the media hub. It's possible The system isn't paired properly, just things get wonky. I would recommend clearing the phone, memory of the radio and the radio memory of the phone and starting over and see if that resolves the problem. Also make sure that your phone is fully up to date on all software and if your phone is an older one, you may want to consider upgrading as it may have. A older Bluetooth technology or chip that is just not working right.

I am fairly certain, that your cell phone has to be at least be operating on 4G Lite.
anything operating on 3G, should be turned in, it is worthless as a phone
