We tried using the GPS on our ‘21 2500 Bighorn, but every time we get out and shut the truck off the volume cranks back up to 15 even though I had it set at 3. Seems to be the only setting that doesn’t save. Really don’t want the salty old girl yelling at me all the time. Any of you all have a way of solving this? Thanks

Might have to just shut the audible part off, I do this first thing because I don't like it cutting into music to tell me to make a turn. Even with it off you still get one line in the beginning (telling you to follow the highlighted path or something like that) but after that no more voices interfering.

Well, I went to mute the old gal last night and thought just for grins and giggles what if I turn her voice off after turning it down, then turn it back on? After turning the gps volume down to 3, I turned the voice commands off, turned them back on, turned the ignition off, opened the door, closed the door, waited 30 seconds, turned the “key” to run, went back into gps settings, and it saved the voice commands as on at a volume of 3. UPDATE: Got in the truck last night for a maintenance job, checked to see if it was still set at a volume of 3, she was right back at 15. I’m convinced if she’s gonna talk she’s gonna be loud, so I just silenced the voice commands. Next time at the dealer I’ll ask about it. If that is the worst thing going on that’s pretty good.
