Uconnect installation

I changed my radio to the uconnect 5.0. The navigatgion says no signal. What do I need to do?

Do you have the Sat/GPS antenna? Did you plug both of them in to the radio? Only thing it can be...

Do you have a gps antenna? Sat uses a antenna on different frequency. My 13 with a 8.4a only had a gps antenna, so I had to buy splitter for the fakra and put a magnetic sat antenna on metal under dash to get sat radio. My truck had uconnect deleted and sat radio deleted on invoice but I still have a hidden gps antenna somewhere in truck since it works great.

I'm 98% sure you can't run Navigation on the RA2 5.0

I think there is a 5.0 that has NAV but it is for a FIAT. Never seen one in a Ram (if it would even fit).

Oh, ok. So when you press the compass button, that's when you get no signal message? I think that you're missing the overhead console.

So the antenna is supposed to be there? I do not have the overhead console.

Yes the compass module is housed in the overhead console. It also has to be activated by the dealer for it to work.

What Mirrors are compatible?

I found one on ebay that came out of a 2015 Dart that fit on the windshield mount and plugged right in. Works perfect. You just need to be careful apparently there are different types of windshield mounts that are not compatible with each other. Here is the part# from my mirror #68102484AA
