Uconnect - SiriusXM Travel Link

I bought a new 2017 Dodge Ram last week. It came with the 8.4 Uconnect. It did not have Navigation enabled but I had them add that to my truck. Anyway, I noticed on my brothers 2015 Dodge truck he has the siriusXM Travel Link. I contacted the sirius support and they said my radio is not compatiable with having travel link. I spoke to 2 different people with sirius, 1 on chat and 1 on the phone. The one on chat said as long as my truck had GPS I should be able to get Travel Link but I needed to call support. The guy on the phone support just said my radio wasn't compatiable. I thought maybe since my radio didn't originally have Navigation enabled they think my truck may not be compatiable when in effect it is.....or is my radio truly not compatiable with having travel link....? Just wanted to see if someone in the forums had more knowledge than I do in this area.

You have to have the RA4 radio with the factory navigation to get the Travel Link. You don't get that or HD Radio along with a few other minor things when you have the RA3 with the optional activated navigation.
